- The following is an example how the PACE Camp Scholarship Program effects children's lives: "1n 2006, a nurse
practitioner from Children's Hospital in Philadelphia, recommended we look into camp for Danny and Abby. This suggestion was a
turning point in our lives. Danny attended Camp Achieve in August of 2007. Before I sent him I had numerous question, "What if he
seizes? Will they take care of him? Will he get his medications on time? Will he be afraid since this is his first time away from
home? Camp Achieve went above my expectations, but more importantly was the impact it had on Danny. He came back confident and happy!
He was educated on his seizure disorder and connected with others that had this same condition."
- In 2008 PACE supports 23 camps in Ohio, Illinois, Arizona, Connecticut, Missouri, Washington, Massachusetts, Florida,
